Our knowledge gained working at home and abroad gives us the experience to advise on all types of building projects from military, industrial, commercial, housing and leisure to education, ecclesiastical, barn conversions and refurbishment projects.

We carry out designs for all types of buildings, structures in reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, timber and masonry and also carry out site inspections; condition surveys and architectural and structural surveys, evaluation of potential commercial and residential development sites; negotiations with developers and local authorities.

BDT is a multi-disciplinary Architectural and Engineering Consultancy providing services to both public and private Clients. This initially focussed on work in the Nuclear Industry as part of a Team supporting an ongoing program of analyzing crane support structures as part of a "High Integrity Program". This program was designed to increase further the reliability of structures supporting cranes and other lifting devices at Nuclear Power Plants.

We also maintain an ongoing interest in domestic projects including new housing, house extensions, refurbishments and barn conversions, including listed buildings.
